We are looking for:
Our growing team is looking for a leader for our Client Services team. The Director of Client
Services is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing client relationships,
delivery excellence, and organic account growth. You’ll lead a team of consultants, business
analysts, and project managers, ensuring that every engagement delivers measurable value,
seamless execution, and trusted partnership. This role blends operational leadership,
strategic account management, and business acumen to manage in a fast-paced, client-focused, relationship driven culture.
Reports to: CEO
Status: Full-time, employee
Location: Remote; ideally greater Washington, DC area
Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to firm-wide strategy, growth planning, and operational scaling
• Lead client onboarding, delivery oversight, and executive engagement
• Manage, mentor, and develop client-facing team members, including consultants, analysts, and PMs
• Review new client projects and plan appropriate staff resourcing to ensure project load balance
• Monitor and manage project health, profitability, and client satisfaction metrics
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and client experience
• Resolve escalations and ensure high standards of service and delivery
• Own and grow strategic client relationships across multiple accounts
• Partner with leadership, business development, and product management functions to proactively manage account plans, optimize delivery options and technology, engage with executive stakeholders, long term relationships, and account growth
You are:
• A builder – of teams, of client relationships, of industry knowledge and expertise
• A highly motivated, self-driven, team-focused client services leader with 10+ years leading client services, consulting, and account management
• Experienced leading revenue growth and administration with strong business acumen who thinks like a consultant and acts like a partner
• A leader with proven success managing software or technology implementation projects who thrives in ambiguity and builds clarity for others
• Skilled in stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and strategic planning
• Accomplished at developing, managing and optimizing key client success metrics such as delivery quality, team utilization, project margin, client retention, revenue growth and account expansion as indicated by past success
• Recognized for supportively mentoring cross-functional teams in fast-paced, multifaceted environments
• Energized by scaling teams, systems, processes, and relationships
• Highly knowledgeable of leading association and/or non-profit technology solutions, to ideally include Association Management Systems (AMS), Community
Management Systems (CMS), and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
