Position Overview:
Project Managers are the voice and face of Achurch Consulting to our clients. PMs own and lead multiple technology-focused client projects from concept to completion based on their expertise, capacity, and desire for learning. They are responsible for creating project plans; providing direction; communicating clearly with the entire project team (internal, third-party, and client-side); and driving results by controlling the cost, quality, and schedule of each project through effective management of resources. The PM typically works in close partnership with a Business Analyst (BA), who lends consultative expertise to the project. Our focus is on building trustful client relationships by driving results through thoughtful
communication, efficiency, and attention to detail.
The Project Manager can work on a variety of project types, including but not limited to:
• Assessing current technology platforms for clients and providing go-forward
recommendations
• Selecting technology platforms for clients
• Implementing software for clients
• Developing project management frameworks
Technology platforms may include, but are not limited to, Association Management Systems, Learning Management Systems, and Content Management Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and adhere to project plans for the entire project team
• Craft and coordinate client communications
• Gather and document system and functional requirements
• Ensure project milestones are met and reported
• Direct and participate in client meetings
• Communicate project information with client and third-party services
• Assign project tasks and follow up to ensure timely completion
• Respond to issues from project team members
• Review and approve project-related timecards
• Escalate and communicate issues and changes affecting the project
• Initiate the billing process and closure of the project upon completion
• Work with Business Analysts to:
• Refine business processes for clients
• Ascertain and document business requirements
• Document workflows and test cases
• Test functionality
• Create and validate standard operating procedures
• Define training approaches, outline training curriculum, and conduct training

• Significant (7+ years) experience managing technology-based projects
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
• 7+ years of experience working with nonprofits, associations, and/or fundraising organizations, including 501c3, 501c4, and/or 501c6
• Significant functional experience using, implementing, migrating, and upgrading
enterprise CRM/ERP/AMS platforms
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, and Smartsheet preferred
• Technical aptitude and willingness to learn new tools

Position Overview:
The Business Analyst serves as the expert consultative voice on technology transformations,
supporting projects from concept to completion in tandem with Project Managers. The BA
provides strategic direction for clients by defining project scope, identifying obstacles and
tradeoffs, and troubleshooting to ensure programs remain on track and within budget. Tactically, the BA gathers information, performs detailed requirements analysis, documents processes, and finalizes all documentation. We're looking for a technology leader to serve as a trusted advisor to our clients—someone who can cut through complexity and provide clear strategic and technical guidance. Our Senior Strategic Technology Consultant needs strong analytical skills and emotional intelligence to work effectively with different personalities and high-pressure situations. You'll often work as an embedded member of client organizations, helping them define project scope, spot potential roadblocks, and weigh tough tradeoffs. (Some clients have called this role the "IT Therapist"—and they're not wrong.)

Position Overview:
Senior Strategic Technology Consultants represent the broadest position at Achurch Consulting. You will work both independently and with other project managers and business analysts leading a variety of technology-based projects. The projects range from selecting technology platforms for clients, conducting IT assessments, creating IT roadmaps, implementing software for clients, serving as a Fractional Chief Information Officer or IT Director, providing general project and program management services, using business analysis skills to help enhance and optimize client processes, and coaching organizations and providing insight on best practices. The ideal candidate will possess a keen understanding of consulting methodologies, coupled with exceptional organizational skills, to ensure project delivery aligns with client expectations and organizational objectives. Client Leadership & Strategy:
- Provide strategic and technological guidance for the client's IT initiatives
- Drive and coordinate the client's IT initiatives (projects and programs)
- Assess and anticipate client technology projects and recommend appropriate action and resources
- May oversee the day-to-day operations of the client's information technology department
- Provide leadership and oversight for client's IT staff
- Direct third-party resources that support administrative computing, networking, user services, telecommunications, and other client IT functions
