Taming the Wild West of Sponsorship Reporting

When CASSS first started using their AMS, the learning curve was steep. From complex navigation to unclear batching processes, understanding the system took time. Add in difficulties with sponsorship reporting, including misdated sponsorship invoices and mismapped revenue, and the result was inflated financials one year and lower-than-expected income the next. The team knew something had to change.

Navigating an Unclear Process

Inaccurate cash records weren’t just a technical hiccup; they impacted the organization’s financial reporting, board perception, and overall confidence in the numbers. As one team member put it, “It feels like I’m learning something new about the software every month.” With sponsorship revenue tied to the wrong fiscal year, the numbers didn’t tell the full story.
